As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth for our automation and controls company. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting our cutting-edge solutions. Tasks & Responsibilities

Client Acquisition and Relationship Building:

  • Prospect and identify potential clients within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and prospective clients to understand their needs and present our automation and controls products and services.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships by providing exceptional customer service and addressing client inquiries promptly.

    Sales Strategy and Execution:

    • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets.
    • Collaborate with the sales team and management to align strategies and tactics.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.

      Product Knowledge and Solution Selling:

      • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product advancements, and competitive offerings.
      • Articulate the value proposition of our automation and controls solutions to clients.
      • Customize product presentations based on client requirements.

        Market Research and Lead Generation:

        • Research market trends, competitor activities, and potential clients.
        • Generate leads through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
        • Qualify leads and prioritize opportunities.

          Sales Reporting and CRM Management:

          • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in the CRM system.
          • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts.
          • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.

            Technical Consultation:

            • Provide technical guidance to clients regarding our automation and controls solutions.
            • Collaborate with engineers and technical experts to address client inquiries.

            Qualifications

            Past sales or account management experience.

             

            Key Skills and Expertise

            Electrical and Mechanical aptitude is an asset.

             

            Job Type: Full-Time

            Location: 885 Wall Street, Winnipeg

            Salary Range: Base salary + Commission can range from $100-$140K

            Work Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday
